Get your hand off Mouse

We all know that mouse is the greatest discovery in Computer Industry, A handy tool which provides the easiest way to operate computer. But it depends on the type of work we are doing. Sometimes using mouse is tedious and slows us down. If you are good at typing then every time going to mouse from keyboard can use up few seconds and at the end of the day you can save several minutes.

You can set shortcut to any of the program or folder in windows.

Here is the 3 step solution to this problem:

1) Click on the start button then click on all programs. Then Right-Click on any of the program you want to set shortcut and click on Properties.

2) Now click on the Short cut key box now press any of the letter over your Keyboard that you want to use as Short cut to that program.

You can use both uppercase as well as lower case letter when creating Short Cut windows will automatically add Ctrl + Alt before your key.

3) Click on OK.

These are the simple steps for getting your hand off the mouse.

Some of the Key Board short cuts that we don’t use or know normally.

CTRL+SHIFT with arrow keys highlight a block of text

CTRL and F6 Opens the next document in the active application.

CTRL+ESC Display the Start menu

ALT+ESC Cycle through items in the order that they had been opened

F2 key Rename the selected item

F4 key Display the Address bar list in My Computer or Windows Explorer

Windows Logo + PAUSE Display the System Properties dialog box

Windows Logo + M Minimize all of the windows

Windows Logo + SHIFT + M Restore the minimized windows

Windows Logo + E Open My Computer

Windows Logo + F Search for a file or a folder

Windows Logo + L Lock the keyboard

Windows Logo + R Open the Run dialog box
Windows Logo + U Open Utility Manager

NUM LOCK + Asterisk sign (*) Display all of the subfolders that are under the selected folder

NUM LOCK + Plus sign (+) Display the contents of the selected folder
NUM LOCK + Minus sign (-) Collapse the selected folder
